President's Message

The Board of Directors of the St. Louis Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) thanks you for visiting our website. 

Our goal is to serve the risk management community by providing insightful and meaningful information on current industry topics, as well as networking opportunities, to make your jobs easier.  We invite and encourage all members of the St. Louis insurance community to assist us in meeting these goals.  This includes risk managers, brokers, carriers and other vendors that partner with us in our efforts. 

In that regard, we welcome your input and ideas and hope you will take the opportunity to provide suggestions and feedback on meeting topics, meeting venue, meeting content, and, of course, the meals!  Feel free to contact me directly at jeanie.wescott@sial.com (or 314-286-7411), as well as any of the other Board members, with your comments.  Please be assured that the Board will maintain the confidentiality of all comments in an effort to encourage meaningful input. 

I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their past support of the St. Louis RIMS chapter and we look forward to your ongoing participation.  Welcome to the 2010-11 season.  We hope to see you at the monthly meetings and the golf tournament.
