Bio ForDenise WebbExecutive Director, Risk Management & InsuranceThe Lutheran Church – Missouri SynodDenise Webb has been the Executive Director of Risk Management and Insurance for The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod for the past 12 years and has been a member of RIMS since 1991. Denise holds a Bachelors degree with an emphasis in Finance/Risk Management & Insurance from Memphis State University and has been employed as either a Risk Manager or Insurance Broker for the past 16 years. 2014: Currently she is attending Concordia University Wisconsin to obtain her Masters Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Risk Management.While attending Memphis State, Denise was awarded the National RIMS Student Involvement Award, the Memphis Society of CPCU Outstanding Insurance Student Award, Vice-President and later President of the university’s Gamma Iota Sigma Risk Management & Insurance Fraternity. Denise has held a Property & Casualty broker’s license, is a member of the National Association of Professional Women, has earned the Certified Risk Manager (CRM) designation, and recently completed her RIMS Fellow designation.Denise has solid corporate global risk management, insurance, and broker experience including significant acquisition activity, financial and statistical analysis, and currently administers a master risk management and insurance program for The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod of nearly $3 billion dollars in insurable assets and over 6,500 employees. Denise’s prior work experience also includes risk management for oil refineries, telecommunication companies, and state municipalities.Currently Denise is deployed to the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area and has two children in college.
